Respond to friend request, please add the ability to send that person a message. Before friending them. So i can say things like “Who are you? Where did we meet?” ETC ETC. Today’s social standard is telling people about our Facebook accounts while we are in public. We need to be able to filter people out, or see more about them. In fact, if someone submits a friend request to you, you should be able to see everything about them before accepting the request. Just like if you were currently their friend. After all THEY want to be friends with YOU. They already think your cool. Are they cool enough to be friends with ?

Next, ability to edit YOUR OWN comment. Everyone makes typos. Everyone tags the wrong person at one time or another or in your case when I tagged you someone with a fanpage mispelling your name popped up, I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally tag the wrong page. Now I don’t have the ability to update that.

RSS Feeds, Ical subscription, Google calendar etc feeds for Events. I need to be able to synchronize my events to my calendars. Plain and simple. Now that I have more friends and I am getting a little more social I need to sync that calendar to the calendar of my preference.

My next request is for anyone who needs to post their content on Facebook. For example if you have a blog and want to put this on your Facebook wall, Facebook fanpage, or company page on Facebook. You can add an article from a specified internet address and this will result in a thumbnail. The thumbnail for various reason is not always what the user wants or expects. As more marketing professionals try to wrap their head around “How the heck did it select that photo?” and “Why is my image not showing up as a thumbnail I want to use? ” You should just make everyone’s lives easier and let the creator of the article also have the ability to submit their own thumbnail.

These things have been bothering me for a long time. I would love to have “gone through the proper channels” and submit them, I did however submit some to Facebook engineering and they never responded to me or got back to me.
